Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max unboxing
This one is simple to unbox because there isn’t much of it. The removal of the plastic sleeve is this year’s environmental contribution to the slimline package that was introduced in 2020 (with barebones contents too).
The phone, a USB-C to Lightning cable, paperwork, one Apple sticker, and the SIM tray removal pin are all contained inside. All in all, standard issue fare from Apple.
By the end of 2021, Apple has only recently determined that iPhone customers should be able to shoot macro shots and have a high-refresh-rate screen, but only if they purchase one of the new iPhone 13 Pro models. These two crucial hardware features—neither of which is revolutionary—are what distinguish this year’s iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max from their predecessors, if you skim their spec sheets. Actually, for quite some time now, Android phones priced under Rs. 20,000 have been commonplace with both of these characteristics. What specifically justifies paying more than Rs. 1,00,000 for each of these two new iPhones, then?
The optical zoom now increases to 3X, and macro photography is possible. The iPhone 13 Pro Max is the best phone in the iPhone range, despite its exorbitant price.

Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max review
This year’s iPhone 13 Pro, which we have here in Max size, is not only the greatest iPhone ever but also the one with the “biggest camera update ever.” Along with those bigger and sharper cameras, the 13 Pro Max also has a high refresh rate display, improved battery life, and the necessary chipset upgrade. In short, it checks all the boxes for enhancing everything that matters. Here to find out just how much.
The camera system’s improvements begin with a newly designed primary unit that has a larger sensor and a brighter lens. The brighter lens on the ultrawide module also has autofocus, which is a first for an iPhone ultrawide. Next is the telephoto, which has a slightly duller lens but now provides better reach of up to 3x. Nothing has changed on the front end, and no, the 20% smaller notch size is not significant.
Apple has finally bowed to consumer demand and equipped the 13 Pro and Pro Max with 120Hz panels, or more accurately, ProMotion. They are the adaptive variety, with the potential to adjust refresh rates all the way down to 10 Hz in order to save battery life. This is on top of the already fantastic feature set of the screen, which also features good color rendition, plenty of brightness, and support for DolbyVision.
All 2021 iPhones have larger batteries; for the 13 Pro Max, that is a boost of 18%, or 2.5 hours more than the Pro Max from the previous year according to Apple’s standards, meaning it has the “longest battery life ever on an iPhone” and such platitudes.
The A15 in the 13 Pros has an additional GPU core on top of the non-Pros, coupled with newly named CPU cores and a faster clock rate—an upgrade that is customary for a new year. In a somewhat connected vein, the 13 Pro Max is equipped with up to 1TB of storage, which might come in handy for iPhone filmmakers, if nothing else.
iPhone 13 Pro Max Summary
Unlike prior generations, the iPhone 13 Pro Max is Apple’s largest iPhone model, however it offers no feature enhancements above the iPhone 13 Pro. Although it is bulky and heavy, the large display works well for games, and the larger battery lasts for almost two full days when used regularly. Despite the display’s 120Hz refresh rate, movies are nevertheless disrupted by an ugly notch. The A15 Bionic SoC provides excellent performance. There are four different storage configurations available: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Camera-related features such as Cinematic Mode and Photographic Styles are the primary additions. In addition, the camera hardware is now better than it was in the prior version.
